Future Smartphone Innovation and Features - What's Lies Ahead?

In the last three months consumer and business worldwide have seen the introduction of the Apple iPhone 6S, 6S Plus, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Note 5. Six key areas of innovation are likely to come to market over the next 3-5 years, perhaps sooner. 

They include: Flexible Screens, Built-In Projectors, Virtual and Augmented Reality (VAR), Seamless Voice Control, and 3D Screens and Holograms. There is significant flow of R&D and venture capital into these design areas.
