Among the investments made in the first half of the year, Verizon quadrupled its 4G LTE wireless data capacity throughout the Valley. The company also built a network of small cells to add capacity and improve in-building coverage to stay ahead of high call volume and high data usage in downtown Phoenix and in north Scottsdale including the Kierland and Promenades shopping and business districts.
